There were two big areas, almost 800 square feet, of damage that needed to be addressed for decontamination. We discovered matted, torn, and rearranged insulation which greatly diminishes the insulating value. They can create their own entry points into your home. Most materials used during home construction are not strong enough to stop a raccoon. In this situation, the raccoon was able to destroy a roof vent to find its way inside an attic. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During our exclusion process, we sealed all the roof vents with steel vent covers. We also repaired the hole in the shingles. You need to seal all current and potential raccoon entry points. Your house has the requirements raccoons look for to den. Invest in a complete solution so you don&#8217;t have to pay for raccoon trapping again. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Raccoon Prevention in Toms River<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-28f84493 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:33.33%\">\n<p>We were able to identify raccoon entry points into the attic as well as potential weak points that may contribute to future raccoon entry. After setting the raccoon trap, we got to work with completing the animal exclusion work. Our <a href=\"https:\/\/www.crittercontrol.com\/office-finder\/new-jersey\/\">Critter Control New Jersey team<\/a> got to work repairing and reinforcing the soffit to roof line connecting points.
